Microplastics particles are present everywhere from the snow on mountain tops to the sea bottom.

Surprisingly, 98% of the plastics in the sea are microplastics. Drinking water and food are also contaminated. Recent studies estimate that each one of us ingests up to a credit card’s worth of plastic weekly through food and water. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle will minimize the spread of new plastics, but solutions for already dispersed plastics collection shall also be adopted.
